Job description

We are seeking a passionate Product Owner to join our Financials product team, with a focus on TechnologyOne's Enterprise Budgeting solution. You'll play a key role in shaping a product that helps organisations plan, manage and report on their budgets, working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver solutions that make a real difference.

As a Product Owner, you will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our product, taking the lead in shaping its strategic direction, managing the product roadmap, and ensuring a compelling customer experience. Working in small, nimble teams you'll be supporting and enhancing our Financials. You will collaborate closely with Business Analysts to deliver the necessary artifacts and enablement materials, actively engaging with internal and external customers to build a positive community product

What you'll be doing…

• SME for product understanding: features, functions, regulations, competition
• Contribute to single product backlog via input review and research
• Draft business cases/feasibilities for roadmap support
• Ensure alignment with development team and methodologies
• Collaborate for product deliverables with Product Success team Engage customers as product prove partners for roadmap validation
• Foster innovation, consistency, and alignment with product strategy across teams
• Build positive product community within employee and customer communities
• Present at forums/events for product promotion and feedback gathering
• Leadership: Develop engaged, collaborative team, foster innovation, and guide career progression
• Continuous Improvement: Challenge status quo, review systems/processes for enhancements, ensure compliance, contribute to employee community and product owner forum.
• Understand budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Understand performance planning processes and how organisations set, monitor and report against strategic and operational plans.
• TechnologyOne product experience (highly desirable)
