Job summary

Qantas is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a major Transformation Program on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering parental leave. Based in the Adelaide CBD or Mascot, you will partner with stakeholders across SA and Sydney to drive momentum and deliver a cohesive technology roadmap.

You will own the plan, resolve dependencies, manage risks and budget, and set delivery standards across diverse workstreams, shaping a bold product-led transformation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in program and project delivery, including at least 3 years in leadership.
• Degree qualification in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• PRINCE2, MSP, Agile or equivalent delivery certifications are highly regarded.
• Proven track record leading large-scale delivery teams across complex portfolios.
• Experience with multiple delivery methodologies including PRINCE2, MSP, Agile and Lean practices.
• Ability to scale delivery practices in large, matrixed organisations and implement standardised governance.
• Experience with enterprise technology programs, risks, dependencies, benefits realisation and stakeholder outcomes.
• Strong portfolio oversight, prioritisation and sequencing across workstreams.
• Excellent written, verbal and visual communication with senior executives.

• Lead a cross-functional program delivery team within a major Transformation Program.
• Maintain momentum, drive delivery outcomes and ensure execution of the technology roadmap.
• Set and maintain delivery frameworks, governance, reporting standards and controls.
• Manage plans, dependencies, risks and budgets across SA and Sydney workstreams.
• Provide leadership and clarity across a portfolio of work and key stakeholders.
