Job summary

Hartas & Craig in Sydney is seeking a product designer with approximately 3–5 years of experience in digital product design. You will ship features and customer journeys within a cross-functional team, partnering with product managers, engineers and researchers to shape problems and trade-offs.

Job description

With around 3 to 5 years, more at the senior level, working in the product design space, you have experience shipping digital products, features or customer journeys within a cross-functional product team. You’ll partner with product managers, engineers and researchers to shape problems, explore solutions and contribute to scope, priorities, success measures and trade-offs.

Your portfolio demonstrates strong problem-solving, product thinking and UX/UI craft, with strong foundations in interaction design, user flows, information architecture,visual hierarchy and accessible interface design.

You’ll be creating wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs for mobile apps, responsive web products or both. And you’ll have confidence collaborating with the wider team to communicate design decisions and respond constructively to feedback. Experience in financial services, fintech, or a similarly regulated, complex-product environment is a plus.
