Job summary

CSR Springboard is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our national team in Australia, providing purchasing support to stakeholders and sites across the country. You will manage day-to-day purchasing activities, create purchase orders, and help strengthen purchasing practices including supplier engagement and process compliance.

You will work closely with site teams, Accounts Payable, and the broader procurement function to resolve PO, invoice, and goods-receipt issues, while contributing to

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar operational environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP or a comparable ERP system.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review purchasing requests and create accurate purchase orders within required timeframes.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and approval requirements.
• Monitor and resolve goods receipt and invoice receipt discrepancies, including blocked and parked invoices.
• Work with suppliers and Accounts Payable to resolve purchase order, claim, and invoice issues.
• Promote preferred supplier arrangements and support procurement optimisation initiatives.
• Identify process issues and help embed consistent purchasing practices across the business.
• Provide practical purchasing support to internal stakeholders.
