Job summary

Mildura Rural City Council is seeking an experienced procurement and contract professional to support tendering, contract administration and governance across Council. You will coordinate tenders, maintain documentation and assist with projects, ensuring compliance with policy and legislation.

The role requires collaboration with stakeholders, proactive improvement, and the ability to manage contracts through their lifecycle. Based in Mildura with a focus on community outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating procurement activities including tenders, contract establishment and evaluating processes.
• Ability to ensure procurement activities are undertaken in accordance with legislative, governance and audit requirements.
• Experience managing contracts through their lifecycle, including establishment, variations, extensions and close-out.

Responsibilities

• Support Council’s procurement and contract management activities, including preparing and administering tenders and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and legislation.
• Maintain contract documentation and obligations; manage the electronic procurement system.
• Provide user support and training; assist with procurement projects across Council.
