Maribyrnong City Council is seeking a Contract and Procurement Advisor on a temporary part-time basis (19 hrs per week for 15 months) to lead end-to-end procurement and contract administration across the organisation.
Reporting to the Manager Governance and Commercial Services, you will provide expert guidance on procurement policies, ensure governance and value-for-money, and support internal stakeholders across departments. Hybrid work is available.

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Contract and Procurement Advisor to join our Governance and Commercial Services team.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Council's procurement and contract management activities, ensuring best practice procurement, strong governance and value for money across the organisation.
Reporting to the Manager Governance and Commercial Services, you'll play an integral role in delivering procurement and contract administration services across Council. You'll provide expert advice and support to internal stakeholders, while ensuring procurement activities comply with legislation, Council policies and best practice principles.
Working collaboratively across all departments, you'll help deliver procurement outcomes that support Council's strategic objectives and benefit our community.
