Job summary

VERVE Fitness Pty Ltd is seeking a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to own imports from factory to warehouse for a growing brand. You will manage around 150 open POs and six containers monthly, coordinate freight bookings, import documents and customs clearance, and ensure accurate ETAs and bills in NetSuite.

You’ll work with three forwarders, chase factories to prevent delays, and take admin off the Procurement Manager.

Qualifications

• Have 2 to 5 years coordinating imports from Asia at an importer, distributor or freight forwarder.
• Know Incoterms, bills of lading, telex releases and certificates of origin.
• Are accurate with money and always state the currency.
• Pick up the phone and elevate before a sailing is lost.
• Use an ERP every day and use AI tools to cut admin.

Responsibilities

• Manage around 150 open POs and six containers per month from factories in China through to warehouse.
• Coordinate freight bookings, import documents and customs clearance with three forwarders.
• Maintain ETA, vessel, container and bills of lading records in NetSuite.
• Prepare weekly deposit and balance payment packs matched PI to PO to bill.
• Chase factories and suppliers to resolve issues and avoid short shipments or credits.

What you'll own

Around 150 open POs and six containers a month from our factories in China, from approved PO to unloaded at the warehouse

Freight bookings, import documents and customs clearance packs, working with our three forwarders

ETAs, vessels, containers and bills of lading kept complete and correct in NetSuite

The weekly deposit and balance payment pack, matched PI to PO to bill, first time

Chasing factories and suppliers, and closing out claims, short-shipments and credits

The challenge:

You take the admin off our Procurement Manager completely. When a document is missing or a factory goes quiet, you fix it. You don't forward it.

You'll fit if you

Highly regarded:

NetSuite, Mandarin, a freight forwarding or customs broking background, the fitness or equipment industry, and a sense of humour.

On-site at Upper Coomera, Monday to Friday. Australian work rights required. Shortlisted candidates complete a 45-minute practical at our HQ.
