Job summary

Bluestone Mines Tasmania Joint Venture Pty Ltd in Tasmania’s West Coast seeks a Processing Plant Operator for the Renison mine near Zeehan. The role involves maintaining safe plant operations and achieving target grades and recoveries.

You will be on a 7 days on, 7 days off rotating day/night roster and will receive Cert III in Resource Processing training to help reach high operational standards. Join a collaborative team focused on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and plant operation knowledge.
• Experience with crushing, grinding, flotation; wet gravity and paste processes preferred.
• Willingness to undergo Cert III in Resource Processing and training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the processing plant to meet grade and recovery targets safely.
• Follow all safety, health and environmental standards and company procedures.
• Safely operate forklifts and other nominated equipment.
• Use minor tools and equipment as required.
