Job summary

MMG Rosebery is seeking a Process Operator to join the Processing team at Rosebery Mine in Tasmania. You will contribute to safe and efficient production of zinc, lead, copper concentrates and gold dore, reporting to the Supervisor Processing.

Qualifications

• An unwavering commitment to safe work practices.
• Forklift, Working at Heights, EWP and Confined Space tickets desirable.
• Basic computing skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient operation of the Processing Plant.
• Work through production issues with the Supervisor Processing to ensure compliance with strategy, targets and reporting.
• Accurate reporting of daily logs and shift notes, and recording any variances.
• Maintain constant surveillance of assigned work stations to ensure effective and efficient operations of the plant in a safe manner.
• Ensuring hazards and sources of loss associated with the process are identified, evaluated and controlled.
• Adherence at all times to the MMG Code of Conduct. Comply with MMG’s values of Safety, Integrity, Action, and Results which form the basis of, and underpin all MMG’s business relationships.
