Aurelia Metals Limited, a NSW-based producer operating Peak Mine and related projects, is seeking an experienced leader to head Processing. You will oversee Operations, Metallurgy, Laboratory and Plant Maintenance, guiding a ~60-strong team and driving project delivery across copper, gold, lead and zinc processing streams.
As part of the site leadership team, you will shape strategy, safety culture and continuous improvement while delivering performance and value across the processing
Aurelia Metals Limited is an ASX-listed, Australian-owned gold and base metals company based in NSW. We operate the Peak and Federation underground mines and are progressing the Great Cobar Project, a high-grade copper development near Peak.
We are proud to be a WORK180 endorsed employer, with inclusion, safety, and our Values at the heart of everything we do. With one of the most prospective land positions in the Cobar Basin, we are unlocking value through discovery, development, and growth.
The Great Cobar Project, with an eight-year mine plan and strong exploration upside, will drive the next generation of growth at Aurelia and create diverse career pathways for those wanting to be part of a high-performance, forward-thinking culture.
This is a rare opportunity to join Peak during one of the most exciting periods of growth in the operation's history.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the entire Processing function, including Operations, Metallurgy, Laboratory and Plant Maintenance, while helping shape the future of a complex polymetallic operation producing copper, gold, lead and zinc concentrates. The department comprises approximately 60 employees across multiple disciplines and plays a critical role in delivering Peak's operational and strategic objectives.
Peak is currently undergoing significant investment, with major projects focused on increasing processing capacity, improving water management and supporting future ore sources from across the Cobar Basin. As a member of the site leadership team, you will work closely with technical, operational and project stakeholders to ensure these investments translate into sustainable performance, a strong safety culture and continued growth across the operation.
This role will suit an experienced leader who enjoys building capable teams, fostering collaboration and empowering people to achieve their best. You'll have the opportunity to influence not only plant performance, but the long-term capability, culture and success of the entire processing department.

We are committed to a fair, accessible, and transparent process, using structured interviews and work-ready checks. If you require support or adjustments, please let us know during initial screen.
We actively promote a culture where everyone feels safe, included and respected. We welcome differences of thought and people from all backgrounds as we strive to create a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.
