Aurelia Metals Limited invites an experienced Underground Mining Engineer to lead planning and optimisation at the Federation/Peak Mines in NSW. You will apply expertise in stoping, drill and blast, ventilation, and long-term to short-term planning to improve performance.

Join a safety-focused team and contribute to continuous improvement, with DIDO or FIFO travel options from major cities and a roster of 8/6, 12-hour days.

Formación

• Mining Engineering degree required.
• Strong underground hard rock mining experience.
• Experience in stope design and short-term mine planning.
• Experience with drill and blast design and execution.
• Knowledge of mine ventilation and mine optimisation principles.
• Proficiency in Deswik software.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence.

About the role

We're seeking an experienced Underground Mining Engineer who is looking to play a key role in the ongoing success of our Mines in the Cobar Region.

Bringing strong technical expertise across mine planning, drill and blast, ventilation and optimisation, you'll have the opportunity to influence operational performance, mentor others and contribute to the continued growth of our underground operation.

Working closely with the Operations and Technical Services, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, practical and innovative mining solutions that support production targets, optimise mine performance and drive continuous improvement. Your expertise will influence key operational decisions while fostering strong partnerships between owner and contractor teams.

• Roster: 8/6, 12 hours per day (Dayshift only)
• Location: Federation/Peak Mines, NSW

Travel options

• DIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site which includes a travel allowance
• FIFO from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne

Qualifications and experience

• Mining Engineering Degree
• Strong underground hard rock mining experience
• Demonstrated experience in stope design and short-term mine planning
• Experience with drill and blast design and execution
• Knowledge of mine ventilation and mine optimisation principles
• Proficiency in Deswik software
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Current C Class Driver's Licence
