Bega Group in Melbourne's south-east is seeking a Leading Hand/Machine Operator to support blow moulding operations. The role involves leading the shift, operating and troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards are met for a broad range of products.

We value strong leadership, teamwork, and a hands-on approach to improve productivity and reduce waste while providing coaching and guidance to team members on a daily basis.

The Role

Our Chelsea Heights site is located in Melbourne’s south-east, manufacturing a range of more than 44 milk, milk-based beverages and cream products. The site currently produces around 100 million litres of product every year!

The Leading Hand/Machine Operator role sits within the Blow Moulding department; utilising and supporting the systems that are in place so that all product and processes achieve required Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Environmental standards, and meet customer and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate shift operations to achieve production, safety, quality, cost, and customer service targets.
