Job summary

Bega Group is expanding its Chelsea Heights manufacturing site in Melbourne's south-east, producing a wide range of milk and dairy products. The role offers flexibility with full-time, part-time or job-share arrangements and a 5 am to 1 pm shift on weekdays.

Training is provided, with emphasis on safety, quality and continuous improvement within a supportive team environment. Applicants are encouraged to discuss working arrangements to suit their needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or blow moulding is useful but not essential.
• Training will be provided on equipment, processes and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot blow moulding equipment to meet safety, quality and production targets.
• Ensure finished products meet required quality, food safety and customer standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Work closely with colleagues and leaders to solve problems and support operational priorities.
• Record production data, downtime, quality checks, and material usage accurately.

The Role

Our Chelsea Heights site is located in Melbourne's south-east, manufacturing a range of more than 44 milk, milk-based beverages and cream products. The site currently produces around 100 million litres of product every year!

If you're seeking flexibility, tell us the working arrangement that would enable you to perform at your best. This role ordinarily works Monday to Friday, 5 am to 1 pm. The production shift has fixed operating hours, but we can discuss part-time days, job-share arrangements, planned leave, shift planning and reasonable workplace adjustments, subject to operational requirements.

Responsibilities
