Job summary

Inghams Chickens in Murray Bridge is hiring a Feedmill Operator for our state-of-the-art facility. The role involves rotating Day, Afternoon and Night shifts on a Sunday night to Saturday roster, with an immediate start and onsite parking.

You will operate feed milling machinery, perform maintenance, inspect materials and ensure quality while working as part of a team. Applicants should have a current car license, numeracy and literacy skills, and be reliable and able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality standards and reprocess materials as needed.
• Keep a clean work environment and assist safety initiatives.

Hours of work

We are looking for workers to fill the full-time role ofFeedmillOperator, you will need to be flexible to cover various shifts as and when the need arisesin order tosupport the team. This role requires individuals to work rotating Day, Afternoon and Night shifts on a Sunday night to Saturday Roster.

Daily Tasks

• OperatingFeedmillmachineryin order toproduce feed order requirements.
• Completing general machinery cleaning and maintenancein order tominimize breakdowns and avoid the disruption of the process.
• Inspecting dietary materials prior to processing as well as inspecting the final product prior to distribution.
• Ensuring manufacturing processes areadhered to at all times.
• Maintaining high-quality standards and reprocessing of materials as and whenrequiredto meet these standards.
• Cleaning duties andmaintaininga clean work environment
• Being an active, respectful team member that is reliable, and honours work commitments
• Get involved with safety, follow the safety rules, speak up, and be mindful of risks

You will bring to this role
