Job summary

Westgold Resources is seeking motivated individuals for full-time roles at our Higginsville Operation in Western Australia. The positions cover milling, CIL, crushing and elution with control room responsibilities, including safe forklift and machinery operation.

You will work with process control systems (CITECT) and liaise with contractors to maintain efficiency. We offer flexible rosters (8:6–7:7 with 8 days on, 6 off, and 7 nights on), FIFO, DIDO or residential options across Norseman,

Qualifications

• Experience in gold processing plants is essential.
• C Class WA driver’s licence is required.
• Experience with Sag/Ball Mill operations preferred.
• Safety-focused with the ability to perform manual tasks.
• Experience with process control systems (SCADA) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate milling, CIL, crushing and elution circuits and control room duties.
• Operate forklift, EWP, and skid-steer safely.
• Monitor and adjust process control systems (CITECT).
• Identify parts requiring preventative maintenance or repairs.
• Suggest improvements for plant output and efficiency.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders as needed.

THE ROLE

• Operate of all processing plant equipment relating to: Milling, CIL, Crushing & the Elution circuit as well as the control room and tailings storage facilities
• Operate the forklift, EWP, and skid-steer in a safe and correct manner
• Operate process control systems using CITECT
• Identify and diagnose items of the plant that require preventative maintenance or repair
• Identify and act on ways of improving output or efficiency of the plant
• Liaise with Contractors and Stakeholders as required

WHAT DO I NEED

• Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence
• Experience working within a gold processing plant
• Experience with Sag/Ball Mill Operations
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
• Experience in process control and SCADA systems (CITECT) (desirable)
• Confined Space Ticket (desirable)
• Gas Testing Ticket (desirable)
• Working at Heights Ticket (desirable)Forklift Licence (desirable)
• A can-do, team-oriented attitude
• Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
• Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite
• Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
• Excellent communication skills
