Job summary

Drd Group is seeking an experienced Process Operator for a major Green Energy project with a Tier 1 mining company in Western Australia. You will oversee molten metal handling, furnace tapping, and smelter/foundry operations, including control room responsibilities.

Applicants should have 5+ years of Process Operator experience, Smelter/foundry background, and valid HRWL dogging licence. FIFO from Perth, 8/6 roster, and frontline heavy equipment experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' Process Operator experience.
• Essential: Smelter or foundry experience.
• Overhead crane experience.
• HRWL dogging licence.
• Telehandler and front-end loader experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Manage molten metal handling and furnace tapping.
• Run smelter/foundry operations and control room duties.
• Operate overhead crane and mobile loading equipment.
• Perform equipment checks and follow safe operating procedures.
