Job summary

Cleanaway is hiring for a permanent, full-time position in Karratha, WA. The role covers general equipment maintenance on site, loading/unloading waste streams, and operating excavators and loaders.

You will work Monday to Friday, 6 am to 4 pm with optional Saturday work, enjoy a $600 weekly housing allowance, and be part of a safety-focused team with opportunities for training and career growth. Applicants must hold a Class C licence and forklift ticket, with HR/excavator tickets highly

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools.
• Experience with fixed plant, industrial plumbing, or treatment plant maintenance.
• Class C driver's licence at minimum.
• Forklift licence required.
• HR licence, loader, or excavator tickets highly regarded.
• Physically fit and able to pass pre-employment medical and drug test.
• Zero harm safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• General equipment maintenance.
• Loading, unloading and movement of waste streams on site.
• Transferring waste from collection containers.
• Operating Excavators and Loaders.
• Operation of diaphragm and mono pumps to transfer bulk liquids.
• Transferring waste from collection containers, loading and unloading primarily liquid waste trucks.
• General site cleaning and labouring.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work site.

• $39.53 hour + penalties for all overtime

Your new role:

• General equipment maintenance
