Job summary

Bega Group is seeking a Process Operator to support the processing, mixing and batching of milk at the Crestmead site, near Brisbane. This permanent night-shift role runs Monday to Friday, 9:30 pm–6:00 am, balancing raw materials with production needs while ensuring safe, efficient operations.

You’ll work across processing and production environments, perform QA activities, and contribute to quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives within a GMP framework.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the FMCG or food-manufacturing industry.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for processing, packaging and equipment issues.
• Sound knowledge of safe work practices, hazard prevention and food-safety requirements.
• Experience in production planning or scheduling, with strong planning and organisational skills.
• A collaborative communicator who demonstrates adaptability, sound decision-making and a commitment to delivering results.

Responsibilities

The Role

Join Bega Group as a Process Operator, supporting the processing, mixing and batching of milk to meet production plans at the Crestmead manufacturing site.

This is a permanent night-shift position, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 pm to 6:00 am. You will balance incoming raw materials with production requirements, operate equipment across processing and production, and help maintain safe, efficient and high-quality operations.

Our Crestmead dairy site near Logan, south of Brisbane, manufactures and distributes a range of milk and milk-based products, made with fresh milk sourced direct from 35 dairy farms in the south-east Queensland region. Producing around 100 million litres of product per year!
