Job summary

coNEXA Infrastructure Partners Pty Ltd in Springvale VIC is expanding its Engineering and Projects team and is seeking a Process Engineer to support project design and delivery across Australia. The role includes providing operational support to coNEXA and client sites.

Reporting to the Manager – Projects and Engineering, the successful candidate could be based in Newcastle, Melbourne or Perth. We offer flexible working arrangements within a rapidly growing business.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering preferred; relevant experience considered
• 3–5 years in water, wastewater or recycled water design, construction or operation
• Experience with water network modelling and GIS is a plus
• Team player with strong communication and time management
• Attention to detail and problem solving
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships

About the Role

coNEXA is experiencing considerable growth in its engineering and projects team, both in the support of the coNEXA owned assets and in supporting our traditional client base in design and delivery of their water project solutions. To support this growth coNEXA is seeking to employ a Process Engineer within the Engineering and Projects team. The role will involve a variety of activities across project design and delivery, as well as providing operational support to coNEXA and external client operational sites.

Reporting to our Manager – Projects and Engineering and supporting projects across Australia, to accommodate the right candidate the role could be based in coNEXA's offices in Newcastle, Melbourne or Perth.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skillsand experience:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred, however consideration will be given to candidates with the relevant Engineering experience/exposure,
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in water, wastewater or recycled water, infrastructure design, construction or operation,
• Experience with water network modelling and/or GIS systems will be considered but is not essential,
• Reputation as a team player,
• Strong attention to detail in completion of tasks,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Excellent time and priority management skills,
• Established track record in problem solving and innovative solutions, and
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
