Job summary

Enviropacific is seeking a Process Engineer to join our National Water Engineering Team to deliver practical, innovative treatment solutions across water and wastewater projects.

You'll contribute from concept and FEED through to detailed design, sizing equipment, preparing datasheets, and supporting commissioning and optimization, collaborating with project teams and clients to meet Australian standards and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Process Engineer or similar.
• Bachelor degree in Chemical, Process, Environmental or related Engineering.
• Experience in water, wastewater, environmental or industrial process engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience preparing or reviewing technical specifications, datasheets and vendor submissions.
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and technical development.

Responsibilities

• Develop technically robust and commercially competitive treatment solutions.
• Design process from concept/FEED to detailed design, including PFDs, P&IDs and design documentation.
• Size and select equipment; prepare specifications and datasheets.
• Review designs, vendor submissions and treatment technologies.
• Support commissioning, troubleshooting and optimisation of treatment systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, operability and life-cycle cost.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, risk assessments and engineering assurance activities.
• Support laboratory, bench-scale and pilot trials for treatment technologies.
• Ensure designs meet project requirements, Australian Standards, legislation and industry good practice.
• Collaborate with project, delivery, operations, suppliers and client teams.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join our National Water Engineering Team as a Process Engineer and help deliver practical, innovative solutions across the water and wastewater sector.

Working with our project teams and engineering disciplines, you’ll contribute across the project lifecycle, from early concept and tenders through to design, commissioning and operational optimisation.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of treatment projects while providing specialist technical expertise to our Water business nationally.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Develop practical, technically robust and commercially competitive treatment solutions.

ABOUT YOU

You’re a Process Engineer with 3+ years’ experience, or a technically minded engineer with a strong interest in water and wastewater treatment.

You’ll bring:

• A Bachelor degree in Chemical, Process, Environmental or related Engineering.
• Experience or interest in water, wastewater, environmental or industrial process engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience preparing or reviewing technical specifications, datasheets and vendor submissions.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and technical development.
