Job summary

Label Press Australia – Carole Park, Brisbane, is seeking a Printing Press Operator & Dispatch Assistant to join our team. The role focuses on operating printing presses, producing high-quality labels, and assisting with dispatch.

You will set up presses, check labels to specs, monitor quality, and help with slitting, rewinding, packing and freight bookings. A reliable, mechanically minded candidate who is keen to be a long-term team member is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with label printing or flexographic printing is highly regarded.
• Reliable, hands-on and mechanically inclined.
• Willing to be a long-term part of the team.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Printing Press Operator to join our team at Label Press Australia.

The role is primarily focused on operating our printing presses and producing high-quality labels, with some additional work across slitting, rewinding and dispatch.

The role includes:

• Setting up and operating printing presses
• Producing and checking labels to customer specifications
• Monitoring print quality and making adjustments where required
• Slitting and rewinding finished label rolls
• Packing and preparing completed jobs for dispatch
• Booking freight and organising transport collections
• General production duties as required

Experience in label printing or flexographic printing would be highly regarded, although we’re looking for someone who is reliable, mechanically minded and keen to become a long-term part of our team.
