Job summary

MCC Brisbane is seeking an experienced Flexographic Label Printer to join our production team. You will work on premium label jobs, set up, run, and QC to a high standard on modern printing presses. The roster includes 3 set days per week with fortnightly rotation from days to nights and paid meal breaks.

You will join a skilled team focused on precision, quality, and efficiency, with access to industry-leading printing technology and opportunities for career growth within MCC globally.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a printer (Certificate III in Print or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent quality control standards.
• A printing or manufacturing background.
• Eligible Australian working rights.
• Experience with Gallus, MPS or Mark Andy presses (highly desirable).
• Foiling, embossing and die cutting experience (highly desirable).

Responsibilities

• Run work to the schedule and produce high-quality labels for recognisable brands.
• Uphold quality assurance practices and keep accurate data and records.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the press with safety, quality and efficiency focus.
• Minimise unplanned downtime and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Support Print Assistants and coordinate daily tasks to keep production running smoothly.

Highly Regarded Experience

Our first preference is for printers who bring multi colour flexographic label experience to the press room:

• However printers with other skills eg Litho, Offset etc also considered with full training offered.
• Foiling, embossing and die cutting experience (highly desirable)
• Experience operating Gallus, MPS or Mark Andy presses (highly desirable)
• Self-adhesive label printing and converting experience (regarded favourably)

Experience with highly embellished labels is a plus, but not essential.

What you will need

• Trade qualification as a printer (Certificate III in Print or equivalent)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent quality control standards
• A printing or manufacturing background
• Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks
• Eligible Australian working rights

Printing from another background?

If you are a trade-qualified printer from another background eg offset, lithographic etc we will consider your application too, and full training is provided.
