Apex Signage is growing and seeks a hands-on Graphic Designer & Print Operator to join our Melbourne team. You’ll be involved from artwork through to the finished product, designing, preparing artwork, and operating print equipment to keep projects on time.

This practical role spans across the business; you’ll wear multiple hats and help ensure quality across signage applications and production processes. Based in Melbourne, full-time, with flexibility for the right person.

Qualifications

• Experience in signage or print production.
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Ability to prepare artwork for signage and large-format print.
• Familiarity with production processes and finishing steps.

What we’re looking for

Ideally, you’ll have experience in the signage or print industry and understand how artwork translates into production.

You’ll bring:

• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Experience preparing artwork for print and signage.

• An understanding of large‑format printing and production processes.

• Good attention to detail and pride in getting things right.

• A practical, hands‑on approach to problem solving.

• The ability to manage changing priorities and multiple jobs.

• A willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.

• Good communication and a reliable, team‑focused attitude.

• Able to drive a company vehicle for deliveries and small installs.

Signage experience is highly regarded, but we’re also open to the right person with strong print, design or production experience.
