KBR is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Melbourne to lead structural design and analyses for diverse projects. You will work on concrete, steel and other materials, mentor juniors, and maintain client exposure across assignments.

The role emphasizes conventional methods, innovative problem solving, and high-quality deliverables. You will operate within KBR’s Infrastructure Solutions Australia, contributing to civil and defense-related infrastructure projects while applying your expertise

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in structural engineering for concrete, steel, wood or composites.
• Ability to evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques per Australian Standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations and analysis per Australian Standards.
• Assist in tender preparation, scope definitions, and cost estimates.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate design intent clearly.
• Develop design documentation with sketches and markups.
• Review drawings and documentation to ensure high-quality outputs.
