Job summary

Lab3 is seeking a Principal Consultant to join our Security Practice in Melbourne, Australia. You will shape, design and lead enterprise‑grade Microsoft security solutions across cloud, hybrid and identity platforms.

You will act as a trusted security advisor to clients, drive workshops, threat modelling, and deliver high‑quality technical and executive deliverables while mentoring engineers and consultants.

Qualifications

• Senior security architect with enterprise experience across cloud, hybrid, and identity platforms.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure security services and cloud-native controls.
• Experience delivering security roadmaps, threat modelling, and workshops for executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Microsoft security engagements from strategy to delivery.
• Architect and implement Sentinel, Defender XDR, and Entra ID security controls.
• Design hybrid identity security architectures and Zero Trust models.
• Embed security into IaC and CI/CD pipelines with DevSecOps practices.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and produce high‑quality deliverables.
