Job summary

TAFE SA is seeking a Principal Consultant Psychosocial Safety to lead strategic delivery of psychosocial risk management across the organisation. You will identify hazards, assess risks and implement controls while partnering with senior leaders to strengthen safety culture.

The role requires autonomous judgement, evidence-based reporting and ongoing advice to improve compliance and wellbeing for staff and students. Based at Regency campus with a strong Kaurna Country connection.

Qualifications

• Significant workplace health and safety expertise, interpreting legislation, standards and policies.
• Identify, assess and manage psychosocial hazards with effective controls and risk management.
• Consult, facilitate and influence with senior leaders to strengthen safety practice.
• Autonomous work style with sound judgment and evidence-based reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and specialist advice to identify, assess, manage and monitor psychosocial risks.
• Strengthen the organisation’s psychosocial health and safety framework through risk controls.
• Lead preventative initiatives and ensure compliance across the institute.
