The Central Tanami Project Joint Venture (CTPJV) - a 50:50 partnership between ASX‑listed Tanami Gold NL and MGX Resources Limited - is entering an exciting new phase of growth. With plans progressing to develop the Groundrush Underground Gold Deposit and the Jims Open Pit, this is a rare opportunity to join a project as it moves from preparation into construction and restart.
CTPJV is supported by substantial existing infrastructure, including a processing facility on care and maintenance, established haul roads, bore field, gravel airstrip, and an accommodation village. Planning for mill replacement and infrastructure upgrades is well advanced, positioning the site for an efficient and accelerated restart.
We are about to commence an exploration decline and major surface drilling programs to strengthen our resources and mine plan, alongside significant investment in site infrastructure, camp upgrades, and operational systems. This is a hands‑on construction and start‑up environment, ideal for people who thrive on challenge and enjoy building something from the ground up.
This role is based in our West Perth office (5 days on/2 days off) and sits within the Technical Services team and is responsible for providing technical leadership across all metallurgical and process engineering activities.
As Principal Process Engineer, you will lead the design and development of the CIL processing plant through study, FEED, and execution phases, ensuring strong technical outcomes aligned with project delivery and operational readiness.
You will play a critical role in bridging study phases through to construction, commissioning, and ramp‑up.
You are a highly experienced metallurgist or process engineer with a strong background in gold processing and plant development. You enjoy working across the full project lifecycle and are comfortable leading technical outcomes in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
