Job summary

Capricorn Metals Ltd is seeking a Senior Process Supervisor for the Karlawinda Gold Project in Western Australia. You will lead the Processing team, drive plant performance, and uphold the highest safety and efficiency standards.

This hands-on role focuses on developing the processing workforce and delivering reliable operations. The role requires 10+ years in mineral processing, including 4+ years in a supervisory capacity, with CIL/CIP experience and strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in a mineral processing environment.
• 4+ years leading teams in CIL/CIP gold processing.
• Must hold Statutory Supervisors Certificate (S26).
• Experience improving production performance and costs.
• Strong written communication skills and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Plant Operations team across Processing, Gold Room, Maintenance, Metallurgy and ROM.
• Ensure safety and efficiency to meet recovery, throughput and utilisation targets.
• Identify opportunities to improve plant performance and cost outcomes.
• Support budgeting, forecasts and processing plans; monitor costs.
• Maintain ROM stocks and coordinate crushing blending.
• Lead safety initiatives and performance management.

Capricorn operates across two distinct project regions in Western Australia: the Karlawinda Gold Projectin the Pilbara region and theMt Gibson Gold Project, currently under development in the Mid-West.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Supervisorto join our team at the Karlawinda Gold Projecton a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Process Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in the processing operation, helping to drive plant performance while maintaining the highest standards of safety, operational efficiency, and workforce development.

This role is ideal for a hands‐on leader who is committed to fostering a strong safety culture, delivering quality outcomes, and supporting the ongoing training and development of the processing team. Working collaboratively with site leadership, you will help ensure the continued success and reliability of the plant.

Roles and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead, mentor and support the Plant Operations team while promoting strong communication across Processing, Gold Room, Maintenance, Metallurgy and ROM.
• Ensure the processing plant operates safely and efficiently to achieve gold recovery, throughput and utilisation targets.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve plant performance, efficiency and production outcomes.
• Support operational planning, including budgets, forecasts and processing plans, while monitoring costs.
• Maintain ROM stocks and coordinate crushing blending requirements.
• Lead safety initiatives, fulfil statutory supervisor duties and ensure clear reporting and performance management across the team.

Qualifications & Experience

• A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience within a mineral processing environment with a minimum of 4 years' experience at CIL/CIP gold processing plant.
• Must Have Statutory Supervisors Certificate (S26)
• Demonstrated experience leading plant operations and processing teams (3+ years). With excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exposure to plant commissioning (desirable).
• Strong experience in improving production performance, plant utilisation, recovery and cost outcomes.
• Well Developed written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise production reports.
• Proven collaborative working with own teams and interrelated teams.
• Above‑average competency across spreadsheet, presentation, word-processing and database applications.
