Beyond Electrical Engineering (BEE) seeks a Principal Secondary Engineer to lead and mentor the Power Systems team across substations, renewables and grid projects. This full-time hybrid role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane or Newcastle, with travel as needed.

You will drive hands-on design, technical sign-off and mentorship, oversee protection and control schemes, coordinate interfaces, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions on time and safely for a growing

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• NER Registered / RPEQ / RPEV is preferred or required where applicable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of AS3000 and AS2067 standards.

Responsabilidades

• Design or review protection and control schemes for complex projects.
• Conduct power system studies including load flow, fault studies and coordination.
• Act as technical focal point for the secondary design team with mentorship.
• Project manage the design process and coordinate interfaces.
• Consult with clients from feasibility to commissioning, ensuring quality and safety.
• Drive continuous improvement in design processes and tools.
