Job summary

Barr Planning, a division of BeveridgeWilliams, is seeking a Senior Principal Planner to lead significant NSW state and regional projects. You will liaise with clients, guide project teams and contribute to business development while ensuring quality and on-budget delivery.

The role requires a PIA-accredited planning degree, 10+ years of experience, and Registered Planner status. Flexible office locations across NSW are possible with a strong collaborative culture.

The Position:

We are looking for anPrincipal Planner who is responsible for:

Managing and delivering a range of State andregionally significant projects on time and on budget.

Acting as Project Lead to liaise with clientsand maintain communication between staff and clients.

Developing fee proposals for new projects andmanaging internal workflows, invoices and reporting.

Contributing to the development and maintenanceof our QA system and support business development, with a focus on targetedsectors.

Skills & Experience:

We are looking for an experiencedplanner, who meets the following criteria:

Has a planning degree which is accredited by PIAand more than 10 years’ relevant experience.

Hold or be working towards Registered Plannerstatus with PIA.

Have a strong technical knowledge of the NSWplanning legislation and processes, with skills in environmental impactassessment or social impact assessment.

Possess project management skills withdemonstrated ability to manage a project within agreed time frames, budgets andquality goal.

Possess excellent verbal, visual and writtencommunication skills with demonstrated team leadership capability.
