Job summary

UNSW Canberra is seeking a Principal Lead Facilitator to drive executive education strategy, design facilitation methodologies, and lead a multidisciplinary team of facilitators and educators. You will partner with academic leaders and external partners to shape leadership programs for senior government and industry audiences.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualifications in leadership, organisational development, education, psychology, public policy or related field; with extensive senior executive experience in executive education or leadership development.
• Experience designing and implementing executive learning and leadership capability strategies aligned to organisational priorities.
• Proven success establishing distinctive executive learning methodologies and accreditation models.
• Experience designing and facilitating high-impact executive education for senior leaders and public sector agencies.
• Experience building facilitator capability systems including accreditation and Train-the-Trainer models.
• Proven ability to combine behavioural science with adult learning in leadership education.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with senior government or industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead as the PPI’s principal authority in executive facilitation, leadership development and capability.
• Partner with Academic Director and external partners to shape executive education strategy and learning architecture.
• Scale executive education nationally and internationally while maintaining quality across programs and partnerships.
• Design the facilitation methodology, accreditation framework, quality assurance and facilitator capability model.
• Advise governments and senior executives on leadership capability and public policy challenges.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of facilitators and education professionals.
• Contribute to UNSW’s strategic ambition to be a leading centre of excellence in public policy education.
