Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a senior Technical Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering exploration and resource development projects. You will oversee client relationships, commercial delivery and project strategy, with hands-on field and review work spanning geology, geophysics, GIS and data interpretation.

The role combines technical leadership with business development, requiring extensive experience in geology, project delivery, and client-facing engagements within the exploration

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Geoscience or related discipline with ~15+ years across multiple commodities.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary exploration teams and programs including drilling and field campaigns
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of JORC reporting requirements
• Established industry network within the exploration and mining sectors

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary day-to-day contact for key clients, leading meetings and managing expectations.
• Identify and attract new commercial opportunities through industry network; prepare proposals, scopes and budgets.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver exploration outcomes; review geological interpretations and reports.
• Provide guidance and mentor colleagues; foster collaboration and development.
• Manage project performance against budgets and timelines; forecast workload and revenue.
