Job summary

Versent is seeking a Principal Engineer - Modern Work to lead complex Microsoft 365 programs, including tenant migrations, M&A integrations, and digital workplace transformations. The role combines hands-on delivery with strategic architecture across Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Entra ID.

You will mentor engineers, drive solution quality and governance, and partner with customers to shape modern workplace outcomes. Flexible, cross-functional teamwork is a core value at Versent.

Qualifications

• Extensive Microsoft 365 consulting and architecture experience.
• Experience across Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Entra ID.
• Proven track record leading migration and transformation programs.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and translate business needs into practical solutions.
• Hands-on technical capability combined with strategic thinking.
• Highly desirable: Experience with Defender, Copilot and Copilot Studio.

Job description

Lead complex Microsoft 365 transformation programs that reshape the way organisations work.

At Versent, we're looking for a Principal Engineer - Modern Work who combines deep Microsoft 365 expertise with strong architecture and delivery leadership. This is a hands‑on role focused on designing and delivering large-scale tenant migrations, M&A integrations, divestitures and digital workplace transformations.

You'll work directly with customers to solve complex challenges across Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Entra ID, leading solutions from strategy and architecture through to migration, cutover and optimisation.

What you'll do
