AECOM in Australia seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the design of medium‑voltage systems for utility‑scale generation and storage, from feasibility to commissioning.

You will drive MV design, protection philosophies and interface with grid connections, drawing on extensive experience in similar sectors and strong client engagement skills. Hybrid work options and a broad benefits program are offered.

Competenze

• 8+ years designing and leading medium-voltage electrical systems.
• Experience with 11 kV to 33 kV designs across project stages.
• Proficiency in electrical calculations, drawings and specs.
• Registered or working towards professional accreditation is desirable.

Mansioni

• Lead MV electrical design for medium-voltage systems on generation/storage projects.
• Develop design bases, single-line diagrams, cable sizing and protection schemes.
• Build and review PowerFactory models and conduct power-system studies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs and support procurement, construction and commissioning.
