Job summary

LAB3 is seeking a Principal Engineer- Cloud & DevOps to own Azure platform design, governance and delivery. You will shape engineering standards, automation, and cloud security while mentoring teams and guiding projects across Australasia.

Ideal candidates will lead end-to-end Azure initiatives, implement IaC with Terraform, manage AKS clusters, and drive robust CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. Flexible Australia/NZ-based role with remote/hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Azure platform and automation initiatives.
• Strong design & documentation skills for secure, scalable Azure solutions.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and contribute to hiring.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Azure platform and automation initiatives.
• Design, document and implement secure, scalable Azure solutions.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, with robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Provision and manage AKS environments, including deployment and Helm chart management.
• Provide architecture guidance across engagements and communicate with executives.
