Job summary

LAB3 is seeking a Principal Consultant- AI to join our Professional Services team. This senior, client-facing leader shapes, sells, and delivers high-impact AI programs from prototyping to production on Azure.

You will lead AI strategy engagements, architect Azure AI platforms, and mentor engineers while advancing governance and responsible AI practices for enterprise-scale solutions. Based anywhere in Australia, you will work in a remote/hybrid setup with enterprise clients, supported by LAB3's

Qualifications

• Senior leadership delivering enterprise AI programs on Azure.
• Architecting scalable AI platforms and operating models.
• Mentoring engineers and consultants in AI standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI strategy engagements from use case prioritisation to architecture design.
• Define reference architectures and patterns for Agentic AI, GenAI, and MLOps on Azure.
• Own end-to-end technical accountability and risk for large AI programs.
• Contribute to presales, discovery, and SOW input with technical assurance.
• Develop capability and practice by mentoring staff and shaping LAB3 AI standards.
• Set governance, security, and responsible AI practices across solutions.
