Job summary

Townsville Catholic Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher with tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers. This fixed term role is for the 2027 school year, working permanent hours at Holy Spirit Catholic School in Cranbrook, QLD.

You will design engaging lessons, use a range of assessments, provide meaningful feedback, and support diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers.

Location: Holy Spirit Catholic School - Cranbrook QLD

Salary Range: $86,600 - $124,725 pending experience + Super + Allowances

We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher with tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers. This is a fixed term position for the 2027 school year working permanent hours.

In this unique role, you’ll bejoining a supportive team of dedicated educators who work closely with families to create the best possible learning experience for every child. Your knowledge of contemporary teaching practices, combined with your ability to adapt and nurture a diverse range of learners, will ensure that each student feels included, valued, and confident as they begin their educational journey.

In your classroom, you’ll spark curiosity and a love of learning by designing engaging lessons, setting clear expectations, and continually reflecting on your practice to keep improving. You’ll use a range of assessment tools to understand each student’s progress, celebrate their growth, and give meaningful feedback that helps them thrive.
