Job summary

Qualifications

• Temporary part-time 0.60FTE (46 hours per fortnight) with negotiable days/hours.
• Experience in grounds maintenance and facilities support is preferred.
• Ability to liaise with school staff, contractors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, well-presented school environment.
• Undertake general repairs and servicing of facilities and equipment.
• Maintain grounds, gardens, ovals and outdoor facilities.
• Safely use and store tools, machinery and chemicals.
• Monitor health and safety requirements and report hazards.
• Liaise with staff, contractors and community on maintenance matters.
• Order and manage grounds and cleaning supplies.
• Support agricultural activities as required.
• Provide day-to-day school support including deliveries, furniture and events.
