Lavers Hill K-12 College, located on the Great Ocean Road in the Otway Ranges, Victoria, invites applications for a classroom teacher. Qualifications

• Knowledge of the relevant Victorian curriculum and ability to embed literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating impact on student learning growth.
• Experience monitoring, assessing student learning and providing feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, colleagues and the community.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning to improve teaching quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and school programs.
• Undertake other classroom and organisational duties as directed.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Engage in policy development, project teams and co-curricular activities.
