Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum with ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high‑impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring student learning and using data to inform teaching and provide feedback.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum area or programs.
• Undertake other classroom and organisational duties as directed by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Supervise and train student teachers and support staff in teaching practices.
