Truganina College in Melbourne's western growth corridor is a Prep to Year 9 school with about 1,600 students and 160 staff. We emphasise high-quality teaching, strong relationships and inclusive education to help every student thrive.

Our program follows the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 with explicit instruction and collaborative teams. We support staff with coaching, mentoring and professional learning, inviting educators who value continuous improvement and positive student outcomes.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring student learning and using data to inform teaching and report progress.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to collaborate with students, families and staff.
• Behaviours aligned with Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsabilidades

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students;
• Contributing to curriculum development, implementation and evaluation;
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal;
• Participating in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions;
• Undertaking other non-tracing supervisory duties.
