Job summary

dnata catering & retail is seeking a commercially minded Pricing Analyst to join the Commercial team in either Sydney or Brisbane. You will support pricing, costing and profitability analysis, ensuring pricing data is accurate and models are maintained to inform commercial decisions.

You'll work across Finance, Operations, Procurement, Technology and Customer teams, contributing to tender pricing, price changes and pricing governance in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in pricing, costing, financial analysis or management accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills with large datasets and financial models.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare costing, pricing and profitability analysis for customers and activities.
• Maintain pricing models, price lists and commercial assumptions.
• Support tenders, contract updates, menu changes and pricing reviews.
• Analyse cost movements, pricing impacts and margin performance.
• Validate and reconcile pricing, billing and menu data across systems.
• Assist with customer pricing submissions and contract pricing changes.
• Produce reporting, insights and recommendations to support decisions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Procurement, Sales and Technology teams.
• Support governance, compliance and auditing requirements through documentation and controls.

We're looking for a commercially minded Pricing Analyst to join our Commercial team, based in either Sydney or Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your analytical and pricing expertise within a market-leading aviation business while working closely with Finance, Operations, Procurement, Technology and Customer teams across the organisation.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Pricing Lead, you will play a key role in supporting pricing, costing, profitability analysis and commercial decision-making across our business. You'll help ensure pricing data is accurate, pricing models are maintained, and customer pricing outcomes support both operational requirements and commercial performance.

This role offers a structured development pathway for someone looking to grow their commercial and analytical career within a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

About You

You’ll be a detail-oriented and analytical professional who enjoys working with data and turning information into meaningful commercial insights.

To be successful, you’ll bring:

• Experience in pricing, costing, financial analysis, management accounting or a similar analytical role.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including working with large datasets and financial models.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Analytics or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
• Experience with ERP, pricing or reporting systems such as QAD, JDE or Power BI will be advantageous.
