Job summary

dnata catering is seeking a commercially minded Pricing Analyst to join our Brisbane or Sydney team. You will lead pricing data accuracy, maintain models and support commercial decisions across the business.

You will work with Finance, Operations, Procurement and Sales to drive profitability, with a clear development path in a fast-paced aviation business.

Qualifications

• Experience in pricing, costing or financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and working with large datasets.
• Ability to translate data into commercial insights.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Finance/Accounting/Commerce/Economics/Business Analytics degree advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare costing, pricing and profitability analyses for customers and commercial activities.
• Maintain pricing models, price lists and commercial assumptions.
• Support tenders, contract updates, menu changes and pricing reviews.
• Analyse cost movements, pricing impacts and margin performance.
• Validate and reconcile pricing, billing and menu data across multiple systems.
• Assist with customer pricing submissions and contract-related pricing changes.
• Produce reporting, insights and recommendations to support commercial decisions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Procurement, Sales and Technology teams.
• Support governance, compliance and auditing requirements through accurate documentation and controls.

We're looking for a commercially minded Pricing Analyst to join our Commercial team, based in either Sydney or Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your analytical and pricing expertise within a market-leading aviation business while working closely with Finance, Operations, Procurement, Technology and Customer teams across the organisation.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Pricing Lead, you will play a key role in supporting pricing, costing, profitability analysis and commercial decision-making across our business. You'll help ensure pricing data is accurate, pricing models are maintained, and customer pricing outcomes support both operational requirements and commercial performance.

About You

You'll be a detail-oriented and analytical professional who enjoys working with data and turning information into meaningful commercial insights.

To be successful, you'll bring:

• Experience in pricing, costing, financial analysis, management accounting or a similar analytical role.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including working with large datasets and financial models.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Analytics or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
• Experience with ERP, pricing or reporting systems such as QAD, JDE or Power BI will be advantageous.
