Job summary

Frontline Manufacturing seeks an experienced brake press operator for its busy metal fabrication factory in Australia. The role covers operating 1500t, 380t and 140t brake presses to produce armour components, with crane operation and materials handling as part of daily tasks.

Successful candidates will have experience in brake press operation within a regulated defence environment, demonstrate safety consciousness, and be willing to learn and adhere to the required paperwork and traceability

Qualifications

• Experience as brake press operator in metal fabrication.
• Willing to learn Defence paperwork and traceability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate 1500t, 380t and 140t brake presses for armour folding.
• Contribute to crane operations as required.
• Perform general materials handling and assist fabrication processes.

We are seeking an experienced brake press operator to work throughout a busy metal fabrication factory.

• 1500 tonne, camera-assisted brake press for complex and highly accurate armour folding

• 380 tonne brake press

• 140 tonne brake press

• crane operation

• general materials handling
  

Requirements

Experience working as a brake press operator in a metal fabrication environment

Happy to learn and work within highly regulated and exacting Defence-related paperwork and traceability requirements

Forklift license (preferred)

Safety conscious

Flexible and willing to learn
