Job summary

Rollco in Australia is seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our production team. You will operate and set up plate rolling and press brake machines, interpret basic drawings and specifications, and help drive efficiency while minimizing waste.

You will work in a safety-focused environment, collaborate with team members to hit production targets, and participate in ongoing training with access to Fitness Passport and wellness support as part of our employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as Brake Press Operator.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of operating overhead travelling cranes is a plus.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

Rollco is a proud member of the largest privately owned steel distribution group in Australia. We are a specialised steel processing company focusing on cold roll bending and pressing of sectional and plate steel. Since 1981, we have been servicing the Australian steel industry from our purpose-built factory in Revesby, which houses some of the largest and most advanced machinery in the country.

We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity while minimising waste in time, materials, and consumables.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and set up plate rolling and press brake machines
• Work with overhead travelling cranes (training provided if required)
• Read and interpret basic drawings and specifications
• Maintain safe and efficient machine operation at all times
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets

What we're looking for

• Previous experience a Brake Press Operator
• Knowledge of operating overhead travelling cranes (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and safety focus
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
• Reliable, motivated, and proactive attitude
