Capture Recruitment Pty is seeking Machine Operators and Press Brake Operators for its production client in Laverton North, Melbourne. The role focuses on bending and trimming metal with press brakes and operating laser cutters as needed.

You will set up machines, follow drawings, and maintain clean, safe work areas. Ideal candidates have experience with metal folding, read drawings, and are reliable with Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Experience operating press brake or metal folding machines.
• Ability to set up machines and make adjustments.
• Ability to read basic drawings and measurements.
• Experience working with sheet metal.
• Laser cutting experience is a bonus, but not essential.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Reliable transport and valid Australian working rights.

Responsabilités

• Operate press brake machines to bend and fold metal.
• Set up machines for different jobs.
• Change tools and adjust machine settings.
• Follow drawings and measurements.
• Check finished metal parts are the correct size and shape.
• Operate laser cutting machines when needed.
• Keep machines and work areas clean and safe.
