Job summary

Capture Recruitment Pty is seeking skilled Machine Operators and Press Brake Operators to join our client’s production team in Laverton North, Melbourne. The roles offer consistent hours from Monday to Friday with additional Saturday overtime and opportunities to learn on CNC laser cutting machines.

No rotating or night shifts are required; you will work with an established Australian manufacturer and contribute to a safety‑minded production environment.

Qualifications

Experience operating press brake or metal folding machines.
Able to set up machines and make adjustments.
Able to read basic drawings and measurements.
Experience working with sheet metal.
Laser cutting experience is a bonus, but not essential.
Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
Reliable transport and valid Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

Operate press brake machines to bend and fold metal.
Set up machines for different jobs.
Change tools and adjust machine settings.
Follow drawings and measurements.
Check finished metal parts are the correct size and shape.
Operate laser cutting machines when needed.
Keep machines and work areas clean and safe.
