TeamViewer invites you to join as a Presales Solutions Engineer (Japanese & English Speaking) in the Mid-Market Solutions Engineering team, supporting Japan and the broader APAC region from Australia.

You will act as a trusted technical advisor, delivering demonstrations, shaping solutions, and collaborating with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to help customers modernize their IT environments with TeamViewer ONE.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in Presales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, IT Administration, IT Support, or Endpoint Management.
• Native-level Japanese and professional English communication skills.
• Solid understanding of modern IT environments including Windows/macOS/mobile OS, networking, and security best practices.
• Strong presentation, communication, and customer-facing skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, highly organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• As a trusted technical advisor, educate prospective customers on the TeamViewer ONE platform throughout the sales cycle.
• Deliver engaging product demonstrations and tailored solutions in Japanese and English for Japan and APAC.
• Lead discovery conversations to identify business challenges and requirements, and propose solutions.
• Support evaluations, PoC/PoV activities, and purchasing processes with technical guidance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, Marketing and Support teams across APAC.

Join TeamViewer as a Presales Solutions Engineer (Japanese & English Speaking) within our Mid-Market Solutions Engineering team and help customers across Japan and the broader APAC region unlock the value of TeamViewer ONE. Based in Australia, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, partnering closely with sales teams and customers to understand business challenges, design impactful solutions, and demonstrate how TeamViewer's Digital Workplace platform can improve productivity, security, endpoint management, and digital employee experience. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who combines strong technical aptitude with excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English and is passionate about helping organizations modernize their IT environments through innovative technology.

Responsibilities:

As a Presales Solutions Engineer, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to prospective customers throughout the sales cycle, helping organizations understand the value of the TeamViewer ONE platform.

• Deliver engaging product demonstrations and solution consultations in Japanese and English for customers across Japan and APAC.
• Lead discovery conversations to understand customer business challenges, technical requirements, and objectives, and recommend tailored solutions.
• Support customers throughout evaluations, technical validation, Proof of Concept (PoC), Proof of Value (PoV), and purchasing processes.
• Develop expertise across the TeamViewer ONE portfolio, including Remote Connectivity & Support, Endpoint Management, DEX, Automation, and Device Monitoring.
• Provide technical support during customer evaluations, including solution design, presentations, documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and security assessments.
• Partner closely with Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, Marketing, and Technical Support teams across APAC.
• Share customer feedback and market insights to help influence product strategy and improve customer outcomes.
• Support internal enablement initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Stay current with industry trends in Endpoint Management, DEX, RMM, SaaS, Security, Compliance, and AI-powered workplace technologies.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to build subject matter expertise.

Requirements:

• Native-level Japanese and professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 1-3+ years of experience in Presales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, IT Administration, IT Support, or Endpoint Management.
• Solid understanding of modern IT environments, including Windows, macOS, mobile operating systems, networking fundamentals, and security best practices.
• Strong presentation, communication, and customer-facing skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, highly organized, and able to work independently.

Preferred

• Experience with SaaS, RMM, ITSM, UEM, EMM, or device management platforms
• Familiarity with APIs, automation, scripting, or integrations
• Exposure to Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platforms
• Experience supporting customers across multiple APAC markets
• Additional Asian language skills are a plus
