Qualifications

• Fluent in Japanese with business-level English.
• 1–3 years' experience in customer retention, inside sales, account management, customer service, or related fields.
• Experience in SaaS or technology environments with subscription models.
• Ability to engage customers across Australia and New Zealand.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers approaching renewal to review their setup and business goals.
• Handle renewal-related inquiries via phone and email (terms, billing, plans, product capabilities).
• Conduct needs analysis and map solutions, identifying opportunities for upsell or plan improvements.
• Collaborate with retention team to gather customer feedback and identify churn reasons.
• Assist in designing and rolling out targeted retention strategies for customer segments.
• Maintain accurate CRM records to support forecasting and reporting.
• Coordinate renewal efforts with Customer Success, Sales, and Support teams.
