Mile End Bagels in Melbourne is hiring prep cooks to join our Fitzroy prep kitchen that makes everything for our bagels and delivers to four stores daily. You will prep, batch cook, portion to spec, and ensure orders are packed correctly for each store.

We value reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Daytime shifts with early starts and weekend work, plus staff meals and discounts, are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in prep, line or production is welcome.
• Ability to follow recipes and specs with consistency.

Responsibilities

• Prep, batch cook and portion to recipe and spec.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and food safe.
• Pack and check orders so stores receive the right product.
• Taste as you go and raise concerns when something's off.
• Help improve the way we work.
